The frame material decides how a style feels in the hand, how it survives shipping and returns, and what it costs. These are the four you will be offered most often.

TR90 (memory plastic)

Flexible, very light and hard to break. It twists and returns to shape, which makes it the default for sport, kids’ and value fashion styles. Finish options are more limited than acetate, and it can feel less premium than a hand-polished frame.

Acetate

Plant-based sheet material, cut and polished. It gives richer colour, depth and gloss, and it is the material behind most fashion and premium-looking shapes. It is heavier than TR90 and needs more careful packing.

Metal (stainless steel, aluminium, monel)

Thin, structured and durable. Metal frames suit classic and minimalist shapes and are easy to adjust. Weight and finish quality vary widely by alloy and plating, so specify what you need.

Polycarbonate

An impact-resistant plastic used for both frames and lenses. Cheap, tough and light — the workhorse of promotional eyewear.
